The Founder, Chairman and Executive Director, Dr Willy Tonui EBS, has been supporting the development of national biosafety policies and guidelines globally. He is the immediate former Chief Executive Officer at the National Biosafety Authority (NBA), Nairobi, Kenya. Before joining NBA, he helped to establish a Biosafety programme and Office of Health Safety and Environment (OHSE) at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) where he worked as a scientist for 17 years. Dr Tonui is the Founder and the Past Chair Association of National Biosafety Agencies in Africa (ANBAA) a network of Government biosafety regulatory agencies in Africa. For his distinguished service in Biosafety he was recently decorated with the “Elder of the Order of the Burning Spear (EBS)” by the President of Kenya.

Willy Kipyegon Langat is the Environmental Health and safety Limited's (EHS) Administration and Finance Manager. He manages and handles the accounting, finance and office administrative works at EHS.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness Management from Kenyatta University and he is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA VI) holder.
